We recently decided to replace the carpet in our family room with hardwood to match the existing flooring. After unsuccessful conversations with multiple flooring companies, we reached out to Friends and Family Flooring for an estimate. From the beginning Stuart assured us that he will do his best to find matching hardwood to install. He made multiple trips to our home to drop off samples, perform tests and confirm the wood type! He made sure to answer all of our questions and address all of our concerns. The installation process was very smooth - Ronald was professional, friendly, and competent. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend this company for your flooring projects!

We recently bought a house in Silver Spring with 1940s oak floors that were in rough shape. In shopping around for companies to refinish the floors, Stuart from Friends and Family immediately stood out as being the most responsive and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the process, options for finishes, and was able to schedule the work to begin within a week. Ronald and the rest of the install team were very professional and clearly took pride in their work. He texted me photos along the way and paid attention to important details, like getting a custom piece of curved molding for a curved plaster wall in the living room. The outcome of the job was perfect and Stuart promptly followed up to make sure I was satisfied. Overall a great experience!

Overall everything went very smoothly. From the beginning and the initial visit from Dave to the install team. The day of install they showed up on time, and finished everything well ahead of schedule. Everything was cleaned up well at the end of the day. They ripped up old carpet, installed new laminate, finished baseboard, and installed new carpet on the stairwell. Everything turned out better than we could have imagined!
